In order to register your child, contact our district secretary, michellefeeley@newsuffolkschool.com, by May 1 of the prior school year. Michelle will then assist you through the registration process with Southold UFSD, who administers the program. The UPK program is run by SCOPE Education Services within the Southold Elementary School (SES) building.

Based on demand, a lottery may be necessary to admit students into the limited UPK spots. If space remains after Southold district students have enrolled, New Suffolk residents are given next priority. UPK tuition will be covered within our agreement with Southold District.

There is no transportation provided for UPK students.
The program runs from 8:45am-1:45pm on school days and follows the SES calendar.

SCOPE provides aftercare from 1:45pm-6pm, which is paid for by parents directly to SCOPE. Please visit the SCOPE website link below for more info regarding SCOPE’s UPK program.
